Robert Brogden Expands Kansas Brand With Acquisition of Garden City GMC and Honda Dealerships
In September, 2023 Robert Brogden, a veteran in the automotive industry, acquired Garden City's Western Honda and Western GMC dealerships from The Nanaga Family. Following over 70 years of local service by the family-owned dealerships, Brogden aims to continue this legacy under his brand, renaming them as Robert Brogden's Garden City Honda and Robert Brogden's Garden City GMC.
Brogden, with more than 40 years of automotive experience, is the owner of the top GM-selling dealership in Kansas - Robert Brogden's Olathe Buick GMC - along with Robert Brogden's GMC in Hays and Robert Brogden's Olathe Kia. His commitment to a hassle-free customer experience has established Brogden as a trusted name within the Kansas community.
In keeping with the hometown values and traditions of the Nanaga family, the Brogden brand is one Kansas families’ can rely on. Robert Brogden, a native of Nicodemus, Kansas, and his wife, Kathy, are known for their philanthropic endeavors and look forward to continuing this legacy. From humble beginnings as a salesman and working up to owning multiple franchises, Mr. Brogden’s reputation has earned him national recognition. He currently serves as an at-large member of the National Automotive Dealers Association's directors, representing minority dealers from the West Region.
